Three battles down the line, the Allies seem determined to crush French resistance in the North. This could be one of the most bloodiest battlefields in the campaign, the French have held off the allies twice on this battlefield so far, can they do it a third time. Davout so far has been a master of defence, his frail army still holds the high ground, busily preparing defenses, the French are not hopeful, with the allies only two days march away, their lead elements have already been spotted. General DJ leads his men forward through the winter landscape, it is his turn to face the trials and tribulations of attacking through snow. Figures are not available at the moment, but this could be the biggest army the allies have fielded, they mean business, their aim to crush the French threat in the North. Davout must hold his lines of communication, with fresh forces advancing to their aid they must fight hard, victory is not an option but neither is surrender!
