News of the progress of HistWar ...
Until Sunday, everything was pretty well gone:
a) task on scale (1/1, 1/2) is still ongoing, still problems with the management of falls (even for version 1 / 10)
b) the graphics is improved with such a substantial change in the management of smoke and fog (all is not yet ready)
c) the bug of assaults on opened defensive line is fixed, but also adjusted several behaviors curious, and other anomalies discovered during testing (to illustrate, taking into account pseudo-random order to stop a Corps, an issue in the treatment of the results of melee (fatigue and cohesion were supported both since these two factors are reflected in the moral result), so a important disadvantage for the attacker added to another geometric problem,...)
But since Sunday, in hell! Indeed, the development tool Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 began operating curiously, greatly limiting the speed of development! (FYI, the forum for the development of this company contains beads, for example one of the bugs encountered is identified a year ago ... with two open threads, for one, Microsoft does not answer : twisted:
In short, after two quick resettlement, the issue was still alive. Hence a complete reinstall ... with a power failure that did not allow me to follow through, but it only affects the documentation may not be complete!
But the issue was still there ... logical deduction: it is therefore the configuration files describing the project HistWar that are erroneous, as these files are managed by Visual Studio, it was clear that I had to rewrite entirely.
The task took me a good ten hours but I can resume the advance on this morning!
For now, the tests are not good for the management of falls, especially cavalry ...
I must also verify that the corrections on the defensive assault did not affect the assault through a bridge.
At Toulouse, fortunately, weather is not great
