Got someone in their first PBEM battle.

Is there any wisdom about best ways to start PBEMing, sizewise.   I figure 150 should provide about 8-12 'corps' and that's the usual comfy size for a game.

Or you could also generated an 150 CEH odb with the editor.

It's simple, fast and could be a good first experience.

frankly I'm not thrilled with the mix available on the editor.  For example, for French, I'd be looking at having a series of 2 division corps each with a light cavalry brigade and a reserve battery of 12pdrs, then a cavalry reserve and maybe an elite division of infantry and a couple of heavy batteries.   One of the problems with the current editor is that I can't define that structure at the division/brigade level then get the Editor to 'fill' the structure I want.  Random really is random!

Random really is random!

Of course but  it's good for a first experience to discover the game mecanisms not to have a competitive army.  ;)
