Before I install it, does that mean I won't have the ability to control the volume in increments using S and D

just press the d key then if it s the sound is too strong put the volume down in your normal control sound of your sound card.

Very nice the music in F2, the walk in the snow, the wind also seems more strong....
I need more time to test all the new sounds.

no just put the origianl file in an other folder.

Je suis un peu préoccupé par tout ces mods, senari etc . Est ce que les plus réussi seront récupérés et compilés dans les futures versions officielles améliorées du jeu ou faudra il faire son propre marché?

I am getting a bit nervous with all these mods senari etc. Will the best ones be gathered and implemented in the furtures "official" versions of the game, or do we have to do our own selection?

OK Bibouba, you are now classified as brilliant.

That Sound Mod is stunning.  The Muskets sound like Muskets, you can hear Cannonballs whizzing through the air. The Cavalry's horse Bridles clank & jingle, the Infantry boots stomp the ground. The whole thing sounds like I imagined a Napoleonic battle to sound like.  Well done that man!!!!!!!!!!!

 

No offence meant to the other sound mod but this one is the best

Il faut au préalable mettre de côté les fichiers originaux (qui ont le même nom) dans un autre dossier "de sauvegarde"
