I didn't get a Red Screen Alfy, don't know why. There may be a problem with Battle Results for "Rear Guard" battle mode, perhaps JMM can comment. As for my result, thankyou but it may be a fluke, I have to fight it again today.
I'd really like to see some of the other major posters fight and post their results. I find we talk so much about theory and don't do enough actual public fighting of HLG, after all HLG was created to be "Fought" not "Talked". I personally learn a lot from other peoples battles.

Alfy, the thing is with this battle, you have to learn by Napoleons mistakes, after all he lost this one. The Emperor advanced as you did to hold the 2 towns on his right and center. By doing this he broadened his front, outnumbered 2 to 1 already it favoured the Allies. Fight it again, narrowing your front, this creates a bottleneck and gives you local parity with the enemy.

I have a suggestion. The single LOP for each side didn't really make  sense on this map, they just seemed placed in the center. I have added one for each side on a road. Can we use this or would you prefer the single one?

A question Ajle do you use doctrine standard or 've made some changes?
Perheaps is better leave only 1 LOP thinking other players that must not change nothing to play.
I will post my result of Aspern Sunday after i take a week of break for to rethink all interesting things and fight again battles.

Marques, Alfiere fighting the same "Rear Guard Mode" battle did get a Red Screen but there was no Victory information.
Why don't you join in the latest battle, it's good practice and posting your screens leads to some good constructive critique.

Now is clear , following the Ajle explanation the battle is played in only one way to win.
But if Marques agrees ,we  play la Rothiere in Solo mode and post the result.

Dear friend, I'm currently attending a project meeting very far from home. It's better not to count with my Division at this time. But I plan to play and post a battle log once I get the opportunity.
