Alfiere, in my opinion the battlefield favors the Allies. At deployment they have quicker access to the higher ground in the north and they have the Marsh just south of their center. The Valley in the center, isn't a flat plain but is hilly and presents a tiring route for the French to attack through the center. Indeed Ney's Corps struggled with fatigue during his push though the valley and halted/retreated twice to reform, during his attack.
Anyhow my battle ended in a good victory for the French. At the first Red Screen, Napoleon had won a marginal Tactical and Strategic Victory, I clicked continue and pressed on for a good win. This time I got my timing right
Although my plan from the beginning had been a center attack, I had to remain flexible in case his center was too strong. So if you look at my earlier deployment screen, you can see I had ample Reserves to divert to a flank attack if I had to change my original plan.
