Graphics Question

I am wondering how to adjust for best graphics please, Show AVI and bitmapping on or off, not sure what stuff is.

What does the Bit mapping option in the Histwar main screen do?

Bump mapping is supposed to add additional texture shaping to the troops, but I haven't noticed any difference with it on or off.  Maybe that's not what it actually does
