Is there any way of telling when reinforcements are due to arrive i.e. in game rather than looking it up in the OOB Editor?

No i dont think so. Also see other comments on delays of reinforcements beyond the expected arrival time on these threads:

Thanks for the info (and for the link). As it happens it was the non-appearance of French reinforcements in Lindenau that prompted the question.

Edit: ...and I note there's a new version of the scenario anyway :D
