Cordialement,

I've searching on the book and the forum but I didn't find the answer to this question :
To create a 50/300 CEH's OoB, where do we have to move the cursor ? What is the reference to adjuste CEH's level ?

Cordially,

 :D

On the first page that appears in the editor after you selected an existing OoB or started typing the name of your new oob there are two sliders, one for the year of battle, one for the CEH.

Thanks for your response.
But this does't answer to my question.
I mean : when you create an OdB, how can you choose the level of your cursor between 50 and 300 CEH ?
100, 150, 170, 200, 230, 250, 300 ? Which one ?
Is there a calculation to be made or is it in relation to the number of units ?

You can choose between any number inside 50-300 so 50+n to 300-n where n is any number.

Every unit has a cost, so guards needs more CEH, conscripts less.

Now I understand your question:
The number of units is always limited to 100 per army and 24 per corps (or division when CEH=50) regardless of CEH.
The CEH-number you chose has three effects:
- With CEH=50 your army is a corps and the lower command level is that of a division. Otherwise: army - corps.
- The chosen CEH limits the total strength/combat value of your army.
- The CEH you chose limits the available strength of units of a given type (i.e. Guard infantry, Horse artillery, Heavy cavalry...). There are fixed percentages for all troop types that can not be exceeded. The total possible strength of a single troop type is equal to this fixed percentage of the chosen CEH-number. This prevents creation of unrealistic armies. However when making historical OoBs it's recommended to always chose CEH=300 so you don't limit your possibilities of creation.

Orendels and Montecuccoli, thanks for your responses.
Now it's really more clear for me.
