Austrian Cossacks?
« le: 15 février 2010, 20:51:12 pm »
I noticed this quite a while ago, and it's not really important, but:

Any chance of renaming Austrian "Cossacks" to "Chevaux-Legers?...i.e Rosenberg Cossacks to Chevaux-Legers - because Austrians never really had any Cossacks...

I hope that this hasn't changed since last I looked...

Hi CvC

What OOB are Rosenberg’s Chevaux-Legers called Cossacks?

Hi Fusilier!

First example of Chevauxlegers being called Cossacks that comes to my mind, without rechecking, is the "O'Reilly-Guard Cossacks" in the Austerlitz OoB...they are ment to be Chevaux-legers...(the ones that tried to cover the allied retreat with multiple, sacrifical charges...apart from Rosenberg- and Vincent Chevauxlegers - which I haven't checked - will do so tomorrow and report back...)
They are a part of Kienmayers Avant-Garde...
