HI
I have been with this game since it came on to the net; I even went out and brought a brand new PC so I would have no worries about playing it.
Now the demo has come out, so we can have a look at all of the work that has been done over the years, JMM is a man with a dream, a very big one at that, no one has ever tried to do game like this before, even with the demo having bugs init I can see what this game can do.
We should get behind JMM all the way with this game, or we will end up with click feast games that do not feel like a Napoleonic battle at all, as the big house will just churn out poor clones, which will sell just because of the hype they put out, how many game have we brought over the years that have been, just one big disappointment!, I could name a few I have brought over the years.
Stand and be counted ,stay with it ,this game is going to be big in every sense ,even through I have not been able to play a game where my troops just vanish in a puff of smoke never to be seen again ,this has to be the most annoying thing ,spending ages moving them up and ,seeing them warp off the map, never to be seen again .
All the demo needs is a few bug fixes, and every one will be very happy with it, yes the game has a very steep learning curve, how long did it take a real commander to learn his battle field craft, I think why some people have not got the hang of how it works is because, for years we have played games that you just click and away you go, LG is not this game.
I have been playing table top Napoleonic for nearly thirty years ,and have dreamed of the day someone would bring out a game like this ,JMM is a god in my book for doing this now ,and I for one will have my sabre ready to support him all the way to the gate of Moscow ,and back .
So draw your sabre, prim your musket and stand with the emperor JMM, this game will set new standered for war gaming on your PC for years to come!
