I. too, have had units vanish when firing on each other, and at the end of the battle an amazing proportion of troops had just disappeared "off the Map" The game certainly appears to be a wargamer's dream come true apart from the odd tidying up that will need to be done.

After a few plays of the demo I am having a problem where the game minimizes to the taskbar for no reason. When I click on that to bring the game back up it has jumped ahead 1, 2, 3 or up to 5 hours! Also the troop graphics then go all multi coloured and blocky.
Otherwise game looks great with lots of potential!

I stand with what I said before; it looks good, but my impressions are only from now an hour playing. I hope bugs will disappear in the full game. In that case, it' going to be a great game, but it reminds me a bit of the Take Command series.

So, are the CTDs fixed in the full version? I've still only been able to play the first two tutorials thanks to CTDing. :(

In the mini-map woods/forests are transparent. I can see units moving under them behind the overlay.

Had no noticeable issues playing thru the tutorial levels.  When I went to menu & clicked 'exit' the monitor stayed in sync but was black & the system would only respond to a hard reset.
Loaded the Montebello map & using/clicking on the strategy map was OK but as soon as I switched to 3d the game dropped to a black screen within 3 seconds - again hard reset req'd.

Using W7 x64 & nvda drivers 195.62
The default font is pretty hard on the eyes but I hear there is a way to change it - otherwise I've really enjoyed the demo so far.

I may have solved my problem - by using nHancer http://www.nhancer.com I am now able to enter & exit modes as req'd & I can up the res of the game to the monitors default (1680x1050 for me).  No crashes or lockups.

The result looks good too -

I am posting the profile I used & the 2 full size versions of the screenshots for others here -

Feel free to play around with the profile.   :)

Contrarily to what I previously posted in the demo thread, I also get game freezes while hovering on the edge of the map. Playing 3rd tutorial.

Specs:
Win XP SP2
Intel Core2Duo E7400
4 Gig DDR2 RAM
ATI 4670 (512 Mb graphic RAM), ATI 9.4 drivers
Directx 9.0c

this happens either with default graphics, or with forced antialiasing and anisotropic filtering

The two previous freezes I reported I suspect are the same bug as in this post so I removed them.

I also get the freeze when I move the camera and it reaches the edge of the map. The first two times I could alt-tab to the desktop and quit the game from there, but when it happened again just now I couldn't even alt-tab out of the game but had to reboot the computer. :( This doesn't always happen, and so far it has only happened when I have had the game going at 06/60 speed.

Specs:
Win XP SP2
Intel Core2Duo 6400
2 Gig DDR2 RAM
NVidia GeForce 7950GT, 195.62 version drivers
Directx 9.0c

Whenever I first start a scenario I am still getting a CTD type error. I can get the scenario to work eventually but only after repeated attempts. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium Edition (64-bit).

Here is the error reported by Windows 7:

Can someone tell me how to fix this problem? Is it something simple like read-write-modify permissions on a file or something?
