Will the DEMO have PBEM option?

I'm wondering if I'll be able to enjoy a little PBEM action with the demo while waiting for the full game.

Perhaps this was answered on the BFC forum before it's unkind demise...

No, the demo will only have a "solo" mode.

End of November : the demo of HistWar
Démo of  HW:LG with its complete tutorial and a battle.

■Tutorial 1: First view on HW:LG and order to the regiments
■Tutorial 2: Learning to command a Corps
■Tutorial 3: You take the command of an Army
At the end of this tutorial, you will know the control of the system.
You will become the Commander-in-Chief for your first Battle (7 Corps vs 7 Corps)

The version of HistWar will be released in «Solo» mode and almost totality of the options will be on :

■Different Fog of war
■Both choices of the season and weather.
Certainly a few hours for playing.

Some first thoughts from the demo and some replays (of the 7 Corps v 7 Corps SP battle) posted will be interrsting for all untill we get the full game installed.

Who can get the best victory in the demo battle ?.

My money is on the AI 

Failing that there is of course:
a]the quickest win
b] the least casualties suffered
c] the most inflicted
d] the biggest difference in losses

so prizes for all!

That would be a good result, if the AI can win in SP mode, it will be a good sign for the game in MP mode as well, but can the AI really win ?.........

I highly doubt we are going to win the first 10 times playing aginst the ai and even then when we get the full game and put all the Fog of war on, with delayed messages, I think you have to time it REALY well or be realy lucky to win the first dozen times. and even then it will be a close run thing every single time you play

I hoping we WON'T be able to win against the AI, that will be a sign the game is as good as we want it to be.....if the AI is beaten with ease, then it will be a poor indication for the formations that are under AI control - which are Commander by the "player", if you see what I mean.

Well, the most important things the AI have to do is


first Possision it's army right, a well placed army can win a battle before it starts.

The second is adapt to your moves, if it sees a corps in trouble then it has to do something about it.

Third. eventive attack, not only the same attack over and over again
