Morale and Fatigue!

Sorry if this has been answered somewhere and I have missed it, but will morale and fatigue be an important part of the game? I would like very much to see units routing and becoming fatigued. Also will commanders be able to rally units? Thanks in advance.

Yes, these two parameters are within the game..
For example, here is a list of parameters to get the morale:

losses (instantaneous, global, mean on the march),
losses : Chief of Corps(+-), colonel(+-), flags(-),
routed units (-) for the unit itself or (+) if the unit routs his opponent,
seen by either Commander in Chief or Chief of Corps(+)
visiblity of a friendly Guard unit or elite Unit(+)
threaten against the line of operation(+)
deployement on a defensive line(+)
victorious fighting of a friendly unit(+)
threaten against his line of operation(-)
friendly Guard or Elite routed(-)
attacked by bombardement(-)
fatigue(-)
formation (moral decreases with the density... column of platoon, column of divison, line...)
-------------- and some other ones.

(-) means a negative weight
(+) a positive one
'+-) means the reaction depends on present condition.. (Chief od Corps is out.. + if his charisma was +, - if not...)

The user's manual talks about these informations...

Fatigue is important in the game.. It's not possible to attack a lot without a breathe space.. For example, Heavy Cavalry can't attack several times...

You are the Commander in Chief.. It's not your task to (micro-)manage and to rally your units..

Step by step.. for an infantry unit...
A) the unit goes forward, in first line of his Corps
B) the fighting begins.. maybe this unit wins.. and goes forward again
C) but when the morale is down, the unit runs away..
D) it halts when the pressure becomes low
E) the colonel rallies his men...
F) after a delay (variable with some parameters), the Chief of Corps (AI) sends an order to this unit. It takes a new position into the Corps..

On the step C; the Chief of Corps (AI) replaces the routed unit with an unit taken in the reserve...

You have to manage your Chief of Corps, no the regiment itself.
(in fact, there isn't any order to rally the units)
