Auto-detach units ??
« le: 20 septembre 2011, 21:04:13 pm »
I am not sure if this a normal behavior, would like very much JMM word about this.

I notice that often heavily engaged units - that seem to show the symbol "weakened" - become detached from their corps and with their AI turned OFF, without player intervention...(see example attached)

Is this supposed to happen ?

This behavior was alerady present with the previous patch (3a). Weakened units were detached.
But the red symbol for off AI seems new  ;)

Yes, I do not think this is specific of 03b...
But is this ocurring on purpose ? And if yes what is the advantage for a weakened unit to become detached and without AI ? :?:

No advantage but rather the opposite.
The unit is both diminished and out of control, so maybe automatically detached ?

Detached : yes because the Corps AI must not use these units

and with their AI turned OFF, without player intervention...(see example attached)

AI OFF : no... that said, I am no sure it is very important because the AI continues to take care to these weakened units, and this regardless the status on/off of AI
