Is It My Graphics Card?
« le: 01 mars 2010, 02:44:30 am »
Hi --

Attached is the view I get of Tutorial 1. I assume that this not what it should look like. Is the problem with my graphics card? It's an Intel GMA 950. I cannot upgrade the card on my laptop, so I will probably buy another machine if that's the problem. The game seems to run OK otherwise.

Thanks.

We've seen that once before.  It was solved by updating the graphics drivers.  Good luck!

Edit:  I think.  I can't find the post now, and at least one person says new graphics drivers didn't help.

I get that one on my other computer, it's the same card as yours, driver update might fix it didn't for me.  If not get a Nvidia 512 mb or better.
Also, as Hook will tell you, make sure you've got Direct X 9.0c or better, if not download it from Microsoft free.
