well if the manual really is 250 pages, and given that each purchase of the game allows for 2 simultaneous installations (afaik, that is how they were going to do it with ---------, might have changed now though), i'd speculate that a physical copy of the game would cost no less than 60 bucks USD.  this is the max limit for a typical video game on the american market, and i dont see how it could be less (in a boxed edition) because the manual will be expensive to print.

above is total speculation of course.

In its first year, Northshire’s book machine printed dozens of original books by customers, including memoirs, autobiographies, poetry collections, and cookbooks, usually producing from 30 to 50 copies of each. The bookstore also published a young adult novel written by a local 12-year-old and a previously out-of-print guide to Manchester.

Self-publishers pay a $49 setup fee and a per-page rate that ranges from 5 to 9 cents, depending on the length. Northshire provides an a la carte menu of editorial and design services from a network of providers. Copy editing costs 1 cent per word; book design services, $40 an hour.

I have asked for a quote from a UK company offering a similarish service for 250 copies out of interest. But it would seem that there is the possibility if the manual was offered as a .pdf to run many copies in some countries and get it to an affordable price if the logistics of arranging a large print run for the manual /boxing/ and shipping are unattractive to JMM.

I have just done an on-line quote for A4/ B&W Journal and the cost for 200 is under a £5 which I regard as a sighter only - after all the manual may be intended to be in colour so we are then talking  £15. However for the added benefit it may be worthwhile.

I would consider that a good price for a download, but is it also possible to order a download and the boxed version and at what price?

the physical box is "uncertain" today, I think we'll more details after the launch of the game.

A box surely is not as useful as a CD and the manual.? Boxes I am not overly fussed about ..
Anyway for the Les Grogs teams information. If they wish to devolve the fiddly bits of getting the game out pronto.

I have a double sided laser printer so can managereasonably well if only a .pdf is available for download.
