A question for Count and Montecuccoli,

how would you counsel to attempt to design doctrine for the following nations  France, Austria and Russia
in late 1700  ...1796 on to be precise.
I have read some of Enrico Acerbi documents regarding the 1st Italian Campaign of Napoleon, but that`s it
so I`m wondering if you two have done a deeper research into the subject.

Best Regards

I am thinking about it from the very alpha stage of the engine.

I believe the doctrine should try to force the AI to deploy in line for infantry and to prefer counterbattery fire for artillery.

Concerning cavalry i believe the doctrine should focus mainly in avoiding units of different corps to help each other; and (for OOB) corps should be made by units of the same army (infantry and cavalry not mixed.

However, if the main concept is to divide the main Army in large Columns, it should be interesting to make an OOB with just 3 or 4 corps that have an huge number of units, thus portraiting center column, right and left wing and reserve.
