Aide de Camps

Can anybody tell me how they are used in the game? I was playing Grognard mode last night for the first time and wanted to see if when dispatching if being closer to the corps commander speeds up the process. Staying in 3d mode I could not see anybody ride over or anything - it just left me wondering. Later when pressing the aide de camp button, it seems I somehow cancelled the order.

anyway does anybody have a good idea how orders and aide de camps work?

Just a comment... when all AdC are out, you can't send orders to your Chief of Corps.

JMM, is there anyway of telling how many aide de camps the C&C has and how do you know when they have successfully returned?

Take a look at the right panel.. there is a leather with a figure.. this one gives the number of Aide de Camps for each Headquarter.

Are messages bugged, my ones always show - no orders, corps halted, strength 0, and losses 0% and this never changes.

Orders need time to be transmitted.
However, you are right in saying that the message panel shows false strength and losses (sometimes 0% but also sometimes more than 100%...).
Probably a bug and maybe already known by the team?

You are right.. there is a problem and in order to fix it, I worked again on the management of orders.
In fact, orders which are immediately received by the unit are executed.. but if they can't be accepted by the unit, sometimes they are lost 
By now, this part is checked by the beta test team.
